- MIND WARP
-
- Mind Warp is a matching game whose object is to match pairs of
- identical symbols until the entire display grid has been
- exposed. The grid displays 2O rectangles on the ShareWare
- version. The player selects two rectangles which expose a
- colorful symbol in each selected rectangle. Points are
- awarded each time a pair of symbols are matched. The point
- values constantly change each time a rectangle is chosen.
- Prior to selecting your first rectangle, the point value for a
- correct match of the two symbols will be displayed. These
- values will change randomly. Mind Warp can be played by one
- or two players.
-
-
- STARTING MIND WARP
-
- From your DOS prompt, type MW and press the ENTER key. In
- order for Mind Warp to run, you must be logged onto the
- directory where MW.EXE, MW1.INF, MW2.INF and MW3.INF reside.
-
-
- TANDY 1OOO
-
- NOTE: If your computer is a Tandy 1OOO, the file "T1KVGA.COM"
- may be required to be in memory before playing Mind Warp. If
- you cannot play this game, install the "T1KVGA.COM" file in
- memory first. From your DOS prompt, type T1KVGA and press the
- ENTER key. You may then run Mind Warp as described above.
-
- After typing MW and pressing the ENTER key, a screen will
- appear displaying the copyright notice. While this screen is
- being displayed, Mind Warp will load in the required files it
- needs to continue running. You will then hear a beep and a
- message will appear asking you to press either mouse button.
- Pressing either the left or right mouse button will continue
- with the game.
-
- The bottom line of the screen will now display the players
- initials. If this is your first game or you have not entered
- your initials, you will see an asterisk in place of the players
- initials (See Setup Menu for entering players initials).
-
-
- MAIN MENU
-
- Before starting each new game of Mind Warp, a window will pop up
- displaying the Main Menu. The Main Menu will display the
- following options:

- Your screen will now display the playing grid of 2O rectangles
- numbered from 1 to 2O. If you are playing a two player game,
- the bottom of the screen will indicate which player is to make
- the first move.
-
- The bottom of the screen will now display the point value a
- player will receive if a pair of symbols are matched when
- selecting two of the rectangles. Each player will select two
- numbered rectangles. If they match, that player is awarded the
- point value for the correct match. A player making a correct
- match will continue selecting two rectangles until all
- rectangles have been exposed or the player makes an incorrect
- match.
-
- When all symbols have been paired, the game is over and the
- player with the highest score is the winner (See Scoring).
-
